Power consumption
Notice that this is the consumption without servos connected :
ULRS 1W TX module (ground)
- ~140 mA if voltage is 5V
- ~70 mA if voltage is 10V
ULRS 1W TX module (air)
- 21 mA if voltage is 5V and no signal is received (failsafe)
- 150 mA if voltage is 5V and signal is received. Higher consumption because the module only transmits when a signal is received : it ‘answers’ to incoming packets.
ULRS 100 mW module (air)
- ~26 mA if voltage is 5V and no signal is received (failsafe)
- ~65 mA if voltage is 5V and signal is received. Higher consumption because the module only transmits when a signal is received : it ‘answers’ to incoming packets.
By 5v, do you mean 5v applied to the module itself, or just into the vcc input of the RFM23BP? What about connecting the module directly to an APM? Will it cause over consumption issue from APM? If yes what would be the other alternatives to power it in the air?

Hi Oscar, the measurements on this page are the current to power the complete OrangeRX module, not just the RFM23BP. It’s possible to connect the module directly to the APM, but I strongly recommand to connect the OrangeRX directly to the battery (up to 30V without any issue).
